English Ahoy, Me Hearties! Monday- Watch the video of me rereading Pirates Love Underpants. Think about the diary of Samuel Pepys that we looked at last week, and what a diary is. Watch my second video of me modelling today’s writing task then have a go yourself. Task- Write the Captain’s diary- imagine you are the captain and want to write in your diary about all the things that have happened over the last day. What would you write? Think about what happened, when it happened, how you felt, what you did. Remember time words, features of a good sentence including conjunctions, and reading your sentence back to check it. You might like to draw the best or the worst part of the day at the bottom. You can do this in books or on this sheet if you’d rather- English sheet Monday Tuesday- Think back to the story Pirates Love Underpants.
