Admissions Arrangements

Grimsargh St Michael’s Church of England Primary School is a voluntary aided school under the diocese of Blackburn, and is maintained by Lancashire County Council. 

 

As a voluntary aided school the school’s governing body is the admissions authority and is responsible for taking decisions on application for admissions.

Reception class admissions
For reception class admissions you will need to apply online to Lancashire County Council using the link below:

Non-routine and in-year admissions
For non-routine and in-year admissions please complete the school application form below and supplementary form and return it directly to school.  Upon receipt of the application form, we aim to notify you in writing of the outcome of your application within 15 school days.  Paper copies of the in-year admission form and supplementary form are available on request.

Appeals 
If you are considering submitting an appeal, please complete the eform using the link below (copy and paste the link into your internet browser).   You are advised to read the notes of guidance.   Please be aware that you can only appeal once per academic year for the same school, unless there has been a significant, relevant, change in family circumstances since the original hearing.
