Before/After School Club (KOGS)

Our before and after school club provision (formerly known as KOGS) is outsourced to Discovery Vine – a leading provider of childcare and education services based in Preston.

Discovery Vine Childcare was founded in 2001 and specialises in out of school care and pre-school education for children aged 2 to 12 years.They took over the running of our before and after school club provision (and the wider nursery) in 2022.

We are extremely pleased with the care that continues to be provided to our children by the experienced team led by Mrs Buck and Mrs Taylor, who both transferred across to the Discovery Vine team.

A range of out of school club times and prices are available to meet your needs, with drop off at breakfast club available from 7.30am and pick up from after school club up until 6pm.

Nursery / Pre-School

Here at Grimsargh St. Michael’s we have an onsite nursery / pre-school which, since January 2022, has been run by Discovery Vine.

The nursery provides high quality care, educational and social experiences for children in their early years, as well as a weekly Forest School programme, offering the opportunity for children to develop to their full potential in a stimulating, safe and caring environment.

The team is led by Nursery Manager Mrs Buck, together with an experienced team of qualified childcare professionals.

The nursery provides a range of care options, from morning or afternoon sessions, to a full pre-school day, with wraparound care too – particularly useful if you already have child at school with us.
